Section B Welsh Pony Breed Standard

"Baby Boarding"
at Family Partners Welsh Ponies

Are you looking for a safe boarding environment for your young pony while he or she grows up?

If you wish to purchase a foal or youngster from Family Partners Welsh Ponies but don't have that perfect place to raise a youngster, we offer our "baby boarding" program where your young pony can grow up with room to run and play, in a pasture of youngsters of their own age group and gender.

Located on a peaceful 100 acre farm in Southern Oregon, our fillies and colts are pastured in large grassy fields, with fresh water, trees to nap under and run in sheds for the wetter weather. Our climate is mild and grass is abundant. We supplement with our home grown hay in the winter, and deworm monthly, which is included in your boarding price.

2008/2009 Prices
Pasture Board	Fillies and colts/geldings pastured separately. Includes all feed, monthly deworming and regular hoof trimming. $250 per month
Stall Board (limited spaces)	Includes a roomy stall in the barn with daily turnout (weather permitting), all feed, monthly deworming and regular hoof trimming. $400 per month
Baby Kindergarten (limited spaces)	Daily groundwork sessions with our resident professional trainer. Includes a roomy stall in the barn with daily turnout (weather permitting), all feed, monthly deworming and regular hoof trimming. $500 per month
Show Prep (limited spaces)	Includes show feed/supplements, blanketing/unblanketing as needed, turnout as weather permits and lessons on showing in hand. Includes a roomy stall in the barn, all feed, monthly deworming and regular hoof trimming. (We suggest that show prep begins 90 days in advance of the first show.) $650 per month
Under Saddle Program (for ponies age 3 and up, limited spaces)	Daily training sessions with our resident professional trainer. Includes a roomy stall in the barn with daily turnout (weather permitting), all feed, monthly deworming and regular hoof trimming. $750 per month
