Garland has had several great US shows!
May 2005 West Coast Welsh Spring Show she was 1st and 3rd in
a strong class of two year olds (being the only yearling).
June 2005 Oregon Welsh Pony Society Show she was 1st and 2nd
in a big class, then Res. Jr. Champion behind some top two year olds.
July 2005 Santa Barbara National Horse Show she was 1st under
both judges, then Res. Jr. Champion, again behind some very nice two year
olds.
September 2005 at the Pacific Coast Classic she was 1st and
2nd in a big class, then Res. Jr. Champion behind some lovely two year
olds.
June 2007 at the Western Nationals 2nd and 4th in a huge and
very strong mare class
We are very pleased with how she is maturing, and the wonderful way
she takes the whole show scene in stride.
The lovliest of temperaments, extremely kind and gentle. Superb breed
type, exceptional body and substance. Exquisite head, lovely correct movement....
a really outstanding mare.
Garland finished the 2005 show season
with the following year end awards:
8th place WPCSA Section B filly nationally
Reserve Champion (tie) Section B filly - Northwest
Region
3rd place Section B filly - Southwest Region
This was all with very limited showing! We are very proud of her
accomplishments!
Pacific Coast Classic - Sept. 2005
