hands, Section B Welsh
Pony stallion, *Wedderlie Mardi Gras
combines the absolute best of the Welsh breed -- superb type,
exceptional presence, breathtaking flat kneed movement with a
huge stride, and correct conformation with a truly lovely
disposition. He has plenty of bone and substance, good limbs,
exceptional hindquarters with the most wonderful loin and hip, a
short back and excellent length of rein. His head is perfection,
topped by tiny sage-leaf ears and large, expressive eyes. He has
proven to be an
extremely prepotent sire, from both purebred Welsh Pony mares,
and mares of other breeds.

ring, winning Champion at the Royal Welsh, the largest
Welsh Pony show in the world, as well as winning
National Champion (National High Score winner) twice in
the USA. He is a many, many time Grand and Supreme
Champion. Championships won in the USA number over 100
through the 2007 show season, winning 46 championships
in 2007 alone! He is extremely consistent in the show
ring, winning over and over again against top
competition, under a wide variety of judges. Performance
championships in Hunters and Ridden Pony. WPCSA points
in: English Pleasure, Hunters, Long Stirrup, Carriage
Driving, Pleasure Driving, Western Pleasure and Trail.
