SIRE: *Telynau Jacobite Serenade is sired by *Telynau Jacobite, who was
the first pony that we ever imported, back in 2001. Jacobite
is an extremely well bred stallion, being by Royal Welsh
Champion Eyarth Rio and out of an Eyarth Celebration
daughter. Jacobite's sire, Rio, is the stud stallion at the
Telynau Stud in Wales, and is the sire of other successful
US sires *Telyanau Royal Charter and *Telynau Royal Anthem.
While at Family Partners, Jacobite sired some outstanding
stock, and also was successful for us in the show ring,
winning many championships. He has a kind, tractable
disposition and is a good sire. Jacobite is the sire of
Clanfair Silver Wish, who sold at the 2008 Pony Finals
Auction for $38,000, then was 5th Over Fences and then 8th
Overall in the Small Green pony section at Pony Finals in
2009. Additionally he was Reserve Champion Welsh Pony at
Pony Finals 2009.
Here is a picture of Clanfair Silver
Wish competing at Pony Finals:
Silver Wish is a 3/4 sibling to Serenade, as his
dam and Serenade's dam are out of the same mare.
Dam: Las
Brisas Annie Laurie
Standing at 14 hands, Serenade's dam, Annie Laurie, was one
of those amazing, GRAND old fashioned Section B broodmares
that are such a pleasure to have in your broodmare band.
Easy going, always a lady, she was a super producer, bred to
several different stallions. We purchased her from an estate
as an older mare, and she was an important part of our
breeding program for several years.
While at Family Partners, in addition to Serenade, here are
some of Annie Laurie's other foals:
Clanfair Madison Avenue 2003 Section B mare by Bristol Houdini
Successful on the Florida hunter circuit for Boca's
Welsh Ponies
Madison is a well loved
show pony and has produced an outstanding filly by
*Wedderlie Mardi Gras for her
owners before returning to the show ring.

*Wedderlie Mardi Gras
Now owned by the LeNay Family in California, where she
will make her under saddle debut in 2010.
